GetPlumbing! Advisory Panel

The advisory panel is charged with ensuring that the materials and advice we give confirms to best practice and is in line with the plumbing industry of today.

The members of the panel have been chosen for their specific skills, and include:

a. John Culley

The author of the course, John has over 35 years' experience of the plumbing and heating industry - both domestic and commercial - from initial design and estimate through to contract completion. John also has considerable experience as a self-employed installer and holds CITB accreditation and is CORGI registered. Now working with both school-leavers and mature students as a Further Education Plumbing Tutor teaching up to NVQ level 3 in plumbing.

b. Dan McSherry

Dan has over 40 years experience working in the mechanical services industry. Starting as a self employed plumber he then started employing other plumbers to expand his business. After ten years in business Dan trained as a college lecturer and was head of department at a London college for over 10 years. He started West London Training Ltd eleven years ago and has grown to the company to become one of the leading training providers for plumbing, gas and electrical installtion in the UK.

c. Paul Bartrop

With over thirty years working in the plumbing industry Paul has a long history working for British Gas. He came to work at West London Training Ltd when it first started and is now a senior trainer and assessor. Paul is one of the experts on hand to answer student questions and has offered valuable input into the development of GetPlumbing!.

d. Alan Chilton

Alan has a wealth of experience from working as a self employed plumber to working for large firms. Alan has vast experience of the education field and has worked for several leading colleges in senior roles developing training courses. Alan is also involved with responding to student questions and has a technical knowledge second to none.

Please note that advisory panellists are not able to deal with individual enquiries, but do oversee all student support services available for purchasers of our courses.
